Melting the Heart of Ice Jack POV  I sighed and walked along the empty night road. There weren't many people out tonight. Often,  I stopped by every house and looked through the window. I watched as the kids would run to the window and draw over the frost I had put there. I looked down at them, keeping my watch on their smiles, but what really wanted to see was their eyes. I longed for theirs to meet mine. But every time I saw a kid, they never saw me. I took a break from looking into the houses and just continued to walk on. I need to clear my head.
